Supplier Quality & Development Manager

Your responsibilities:
- Analyze risks associated with processes and final products
- Supervise employee development
- Conduct internal audits
- Monitor component quality and implement improvement measures
- Ensure post-complaint activities at suppliers are effective
- Analyze and address quality issues with supplied components
- Manage supplier audits
- Oversee quality management system development
- Evaluate components for compliance with client and BorgWarner requirements
- Make decisions regarding component approval/rejection for production
- Ensure the effectiveness of change management
- Coordinate the APQP process for components
- Analyze and approve supplier quality indicators
- Report key indicators within the organization
- Manage customer-specific requirements in the supply chain
- Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements
Requirements:
-Mechanical or industrial engineering degree
- 5+ years of automotive industry quality department experience, preferably in client-facing roles with team management
- Experience in implementing products following PPAP/VDA2 procedures
- Proficiency in analysis methodologies like 8D, 5Why, FMEA, FTA
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA standards
- Familiarity with dealing with OEM clients and their requirements
- Completion of IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Course
- Proven expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, VDA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, both direct and indirect
- Monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Self-reliance, commitment, result-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Office for reporting
- Technical drawing knowledge
- Very good English language skills, additional foreign language knowledge would be a plus
- Willingness to travel for business purposes
